The Parable of the Stones
This is a poem that I wrote for my wife and read to her just before I proposed.
The Parable of the Stars
Beginning a tradition that I plan to continue for decades to come, I followed up The Parable of the Stones with The Parable of the Stars for our first anniversary.
Have I been Twisted?
I haven't led a perfect life, far from it. This poem was inspired after a particularly unsettling experience that made me question my own sanity in regards to the ability to discern right from wrong and all the questions that that raised. I had to write this down to come to terms with my feelings and doubts. It was incredibly therapeutic.
Step by Infuriating Step
This is a concept that I have been forced to acknowledge for some time. I felt I had to write it down as a positive follow up to "Have I Been Twisted?"
The Parable of the Lamb
This is another poem I wrote for my wife very recently, just hours after the birth of our first daughter.
Ever Climbing
This is a poem I wrote about the struggles of life and how hard it is to rise above temptations and become a better man.
Sad Eyes
I wrote this poem about my little baby girl and how close she is to the Lord.
Legend of the Teddy Bear
This is a fun take on the mythical origins of the teddy bear and how they guard us from nightmares.
Frail and Shriviled
Frail and Shriveled is probably my favorite short story so far. It is an inspiring story about the origins of the Liahona from The Book of Mormon.
